What it does
Counting, history, insights, goals, mantras and reminders are free for everyone, always. Japo Plus is a single lifetime purchase that adds two things:
- Automatic backup, private to you, made after each sitting you finish, that restores exactly on another iPhone.
- The mala collection: seven malas, each received at a count from japa tradition as your lifetime chanting grows, each with its own look and its own feel under the thumb.
Plus costs ₹199 in India and $4.99 in the US, once. The App Store shows the price in your currency before you buy. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Family Sharing is on, so your Apple family can use it too.
The mala collection
| Mala | Received at | How it feels |
|---|---|---|
| Rudraksha | Your first mala, from bead one | Deep, woody tick |
| Tulsi | 1,008 lifetime chants | Light, quick tick |
| Chandan | 10,800 | Soft, warm grain |
| Sphatik | 1,25,000 (sava lakh) | Crisp, glassy click |
| Kamal gatta | 5,00,000 | Round, deep tap |
| Rakta chandan | 11,00,000 | Dense, firm grain |
| Swarna rudraksha | 1,00,00,000 (one crore) | Rudraksha with a bright edge |
Malas are received, never lost and never reset, and never compared with anyone. Without Plus, the counter always uses rudraksha.
How it works
- Open Settings, then Japo Plus. Nothing pops up to sell it to you.
- Buy once. Payment is handled by the App Store; Japo never sees your card or Apple Account.
- Turn on automatic backup. After each finished sitting, a backup is made. The 7 most recent are kept.
- Choose a mala from those you have received.
What it feels like
Your thumb has learned rudraksha. Then one evening a sitting carries you past 1,008, and Tulsi arrives: lighter, quicker, a different click. A year later, at sava lakh, Sphatik. You never feel pushed to get there; the malas come to you as your chanting grows.
