The Best Japa Counter Apps for iPhone, Compared

How six naam jap and japa counter apps count, what they charge, and what their App Store privacy labels say, checked in October 2026.

Quick answer

The most-rated japa counters on the Indian App Store are Naam Jap Counter (Harsh Parikh), Japa 108 and Radha Naam Jap Counter. They differ most in three ways: how you count (tap, voice or a mala you pull), whether there are ads, leaderboards and subscriptions, and what the App Store privacy label says. Japo has no ads, no tracking and a single ₹199 purchase.

We make Japo, so read this with that in mind. To keep it fair, every fact below about another app comes from its own App Store page in India, read on 22 October 2026: its description, its "Contains ads" label, its in-app purchase list and its App Privacy label. Prices change; check the store before you buy.

Where Japo is different

Japo is the only one of these six with no ads, nothing used to track you, and no subscription. Every other app gives up at least one of the three. Japo Plus is ₹199 once, the same as one year of Naam Jap Counter's yearly plan, and it never renews.
